A minimalist solution for backcountry travel and small water fishing, Last Cast packs hold the essentials: a few fly boxes, a couple spools of tippet, floatant, indicators, and nips. They have a padded phone pocket and a magnetic strip to hold flies. Small enough to stow in a backpack, these packs clip into a belt loop or pack strap when you’re ready to fish.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between EcoPak and Cordura?

EcoPak is the world’s only composite fabric made of 100% recycled fiber and film. Each yard of EcoPak upcycles 20 plastic water bottles. Built to perform in the harshest environments, this technical fabric thrives in the backcountry.

Cordura is a waterproof and durable synthetic fabric utilized across the outdoor industry.

Both are technical fabrics designed to hold up in rugged environments. In this application, the main difference is feel and color. EcoPak packs have a bit of a shine and a slicker feel. Cordura packs have a more traditional “canvas” feel found in other outdoor gear and slightly muted colors. Both are waterproof fabrics. Both variants use the same components (zippers, carabiners, etc.).

Are Last Cast 2.0 Packs Waterproof?

These packs are constructed with 100% waterproof fabrics and water-resistant zippers. However, any fabric becomes punctured during the sewing process. The seams on these packs are reinforced, but in heavy rain or submersion, water may get inside.

What fits in a pack?

All you need for a day's fishing and no more. We typically fish with two fly boxes, 3-4 spools of tippet, and basic accessories like floatant, spare leaders, indicators and split shot.

How much does it weight?

Last Cast Packs 2.0 Packs weigh 4.3 oz.
